Peran Sekolah dalam Mencegah Perilaku Bullying Siswa di UPTD SDN Gili Anyar Kamal

The purpose of this study was to determine how the school's role and to find out how the school's obstacles in preventing student bullying behavior at UPTD SDN Gili Anyar Kamal. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with the research subjects of the principal, school committee, class teacher, and PAI teacher. Data collection in this study used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis in this study used the data analysis steps of the Miles and Hubermen model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the school's role in preventing student bullying behavior is the principal as the main driver of forming a Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK) with implementation through habituation and teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The role of teachers as advisors and educators who provide advice and education about bullying between lessons. And the school committee plays a role as a mediator between the school and the community. School barriers in preventing student bullying behavior are: 1) the lack of educators to effectively implement the program, 2) communication with the school, and 3) the lack of involvement of the school committee in monitoring and evaluating the program, 4) students still often repeat bullying behavior.
