Abstrak

and theory of mind (ToM) in preschool-aged children. Theory of mind refers to the ability to attribute mental states, such as beliefs and intentions, to oneself and others, and it plays a crucial role in social interaction and communication. Language development, on the other hand, encompasses the acquisition and use of language skills, which are fundamental to expressing thoughts and understanding others. The primary objective of this research is to investigate how variations in language proficiency impact the development of theory of mind in preschoolers. The aims of this research was to find out the Relationship between Language Development and Theory of Mind in Preschool Children Data collection involves observing and assessing preschoolers' language skills and theory of mind abilities through structured tasks and naturalistic settings.

The findings of this study are expected to contribute significantly to our understanding of early childhood development, highlighting the critical role of language in shaping cognitive processes related to social understanding and interpersonal communication. The implications of these findings may inform educational practices and interventions aimed at supporting children's language and socio-cognitive development during the preschool years.
