Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms of learning difficulties experienced by students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in grade 3 at SDN Tanjung Jati 2 Bangkalan and the causal factors from internal and external aspects. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through field observations and semi-structured interviews with class teachers who handle ADHD students. The results of the study indicate that ADHD students face difficulties in maintaining focus, controlling impulsivity, and completing tasks completely. The main causal factors come from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as suboptimal learning strategies and minimal professional support. Teachers have implemented various learning strategies such as simple instructions, visual media, positive reinforcement, kinesthetic activities, and individual approaches that are helpful but not yet fully effective. Research recommendations emphasize the need for more varied and comprehensive learning strategies, including the use of interactive educational technology, multisensory approaches, and the involvement of professionals such as school psychologists. By implementing more responsive and inclusive strategies, it is hoped that ADHD students can learn optimally and develop according to their potential
