Anxiety and low self-confidence are socio-emotional problems that often arise in early childhood and impact their ability to interact and participate in learning. This study aims to analyze the causes, impacts, and strategies for managing anxiety and low self-confidence in children at KB Cahya Mentari. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, teacher interviews, and analysis of activity documents. The results showed that anxiety and low self-confidence are influenced by overprotective parenting, negative social experiences, lack of opportunities for children to try, and a shy temperament. Children experiencing anxiety appear reluctant to speak, fear making mistakes, require continuous guidance, and show difficulty adapting to social situations. Strategies implemented by teachers, such as a personal approach, small group activities, role-play, and collaboration with parents have been shown to help increase children's sense of security and courage. The conclusion of this study confirms that consistent emotional support from teachers and parents is crucial for reducing anxiety and strengthening the development of self-confidence in early childhood.References
