Pendidikan Solidaritas Sosial dan Gotong Royong di Era Digitalisasi

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to patterns of social interaction in society. On one hand, digitalization facilitates communication and collaboration; on the other hand, it has the potential to reduce the intensity of direct social interactions, which are the foundation of social solidarity and mutual cooperation. This article aims to examine the role of social solidarity and mutual cooperation in the era of digitalization and to identify the challenges and opportunities in maintaining these values. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various academic sources, including books, national and international journal articles, and reliable reports relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed qualitatively through the grouping of main themes related to social solidarity, mutual cooperation, digitalization, and character education. The study results show that although digitalization changes the form of social interaction, the values of social solidarity and mutual cooperation can still be maintained and even strengthened through the wise use of digital technology, such as social media, online communities, and digitally-based social activities. Therefore, digital literacy and the role of education in instilling character values are necessary so that technology functions as a means to strengthen social solidarity, rather than weaken it.
