Analisis Penerapan Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) dalam Pembelajaran

Abstract

This article aims to discuss sociocultural theory. Namely understanding of social and humanistic, characteristics of sociocultural theory, application of sociocultural theory in learning, advantages and disadvantages of sociocultural theory. With this aim, it is hoped that this article can help prospective teachers to understand sociocultural theory in general on a clear basis. In preparing this article, the author used the library study method, namely a method that seeks reading sources from articles or books and uses this as the basis for the content of the article. This sociocultural theory is a theory that explains that the social environment also plays a very important role in the learning process because differences in the social environment will influence students' points of view. Therefore, direction and building a social environment that can support students to develop better needs to be paid attention to.
