Abstract

The behaviorist learning theory in the context of educational psychology discusses the relationship between stimulus and response as the foundation of human behavior. Focusing on the learning process influenced by the environment, this research aims to provide a deep understanding of the characteristics, applications, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of behaviorist theory. Through this analysis, it is hoped that readers can comprehend the complexities of the learning process and how this theory can be applied in educational practice. The research shows that although behaviorist theory is effective in shaping behavior through reinforcement, there are limitations in flexibility and the development of students' creativity. Thus, this research offers important insights for educators to implement a balanced approach in the teaching process.
