Abstract

This study was conducted to identify and understand the learning difficulties experienced by students in elementary school settings. This issue is important to investigate because learning difficulties can hinder students’ academic and emotional development, as well as affect their motivation and participation in learning activities. This research employs qualitative a literature review approach as its primary method. The collected theories were analyzed to discover common patterns of learning difficulties and the contributing factors, such as lack of environmental support, inappropriate teaching methods, and students’ psychological conditions. The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview of the forms and causes of learning difficulties while offering educational solutions that can be applied by educators to create an inclusive and effective learning process. The findings indicate that most students face obstacles in understanding the material due to limited concentration and low basic literacy skills. The significance of these findings highlights the importance of adaptive and participatory learning approaches, as well as the crucial role of teachers in identifying and addressing individual learning needs in a more personalized manner.
