Abstract

Giftedness in elementary school students is a special potential that needs to be recognized and developed appropriately from an early age. Gifted children often show outstanding abilities in certain areas, such as intellectual intelligence, creativity, art, or leadership, which require an educational approach that is appropriate to their needs. This study aims to examine how the characteristics of gifted students at the elementary school level can be recognized, as well as effective educational strategies to support the growth of this potential. Based on a literature review and analysis of practices in elementary school environments, it was found that an accurate identification process, support from teachers who understand the diversity of children's abilities, and parental involvement are key factors in talent development. Adaptive learning that encourages active participation in children has been proven to help gifted students achieve optimal development. The results of this study emphasize the importance of an inclusive education system that is oriented towards individual potential, so that each child can develop according to their abilities and contribute positively to their social environment.
